The Cry

SMCD27

Price: £12.00

Adrian's amazing album, a powerful and moving work combining the Requiem Liturgy with authentic children's words / poems as they reflect on the conflicts, war and ethnic cleansing they have witnessed.

Now available after four years in the making, Adrian's latest concept album combines the Requiem Liturgy with authentic children's words / poems as they reflect on the conflicts, war and ethnic cleansing they have witnessed. A powerful and moving work, it features Adrian with Winchester Cathedral Choir, Natasha Gorlee and Rebecca Engstrom (solo violin) and some of the UK's leading musicians.

Recorded between 1999 and 2003 and released 2004.

This is the original recording of the work that was arranged and orchestrated in 2008 by David Drummond for the hugely successful world premiere performance at St Paul's Cathedral, London, on 16 November 2008, and featured Niamh Perry and opera singer Mark Stone with the London Oriana Choir. The CD version is NOT a recording of the premiere performance or of the choirs and soloists who performed at St Pauls.

You can preview each track of the album version and download individual tracks as MP3s at all the leading music download sites.
